It is known that Public Transportation is one of the main element for a modern city that can connect people and places in a smart and fast way, regardless of the city size and population. Therefore Musandam as one of the beautiful touristic places in oman, The ministry of The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT) has granted approval to operate Otaxi to operate services via a mobile application in Musandam, within the framework of enabling the public transport service in Musandam Governorate. 

The decision is expected to strengthen the attraction of tourists, increasing commercial and development growth in the governorate, and supporting small and medium enterprises, as well as creating new jobs for district residents
