On 25 November Otaxi was announced to win the 2 position Oman entrepreneurship award.

Business is truly a multi-layered concept that spans not just that of profits or finances. Business means growth. Business means the betterment of a community and nation. If there is anything the people of the world have learned and witnessed during this pandemic, it is the determination and willpower of the business world to be there in support of them.

It was very motivational for our employees as it clearly was a reward for all of us, hard work really pays off. The importance of business is to create job opportunities for its communities and to provide goods and services for consumers. A successful business model results in a thriving economy, but the complexity and vulnerability of our economy could mean that whatever worked yesterday may not work today and could fail by tomorrow. When confronted with obstacles, businesses will need to adapt and evolve quickly to survive.

This award clearly highlights that local business is giving the community light in this dark time. It helped the business community to realize that small businesses are the ones making the biggest impacts.
